This character is the main protagonist of Survivalist: Invisible Strain. They also serve as the protagonist in the Example Story and other workshop story modes.
In sandbox mode, they need to have themselves (or another community member) a friend or a partner to obtain a satellite phone and a phone number in order to call FEMA, in an attempt to search for a safe haven. After they defeat the looters FEMA requires them to kill, they get green pass(es) and got transfered to a FEMA base, along with other survivors. (Determinant)
